Howard & Clova Court. OLY Sadly we only found out yesterday May 16, at athletics meeting in Nuneaton that Dave had passed away . I first met Dave when he bought over 20 young athletes to my stars of the future programme I did with England athletics, little did we know that just a year later Me and Clova would be at wolves and Bilston coaching. After a while Clova became part of team management at the club and worked very closely with Dave ,one managing the boys and one managing the girls, this was a successful time and one that Clova enjoyed and remembers fondly . We left the club 2 years ago but leading up to that Dave would come on the team bus to support the athletes, that always made a difference . Even at times when not really well he came and supported, his time as team manager and also as coach of the youngsters for many years ,Sees Dave leave a legacy of dedicated support to the roles he had, I know many youngsters saw him as the friendly face of coaching and management, that is why so many didn't hesitate when asked someone to get that extra point for the team . Sport is here today and survives because of the time, support and dedication given by Volunteers like Dave , he will remain a giant amongst All Wolves and Bilston past present and future members. Thanks for your friendship and thanks for your time RIP HOWARD & CLOVA COURT OLY

Dave - My athletics coach at Wolverhampton & Bilston Athletics club. Thanks for everything you taught me. I will never forget the journeys to the athletics meetings and you entering me into events just for the club point even though I was terrible 😂. Such a lovely man who will be missed by many. 💕

Uncle David, I carry a bit of you with me every day. Knowing you has made me kinder to everyone I know. Every time I think of you, I smile, holding back the tears, and remember your gift to brighten a room, to make people feel good, smile and laugh. I will never forgot you and will always cherish the happy memories I have of you: playing in your garden, your telephone impressions, caravan holidays, watching athletics together and talking about how you coach your athletes, and many more. Uncle David, you have always put a smile on my face and made me feel happy, and you always will whenever I think of you. Love you always, Peter xxx
